Nature’s patterns

When you are next out in the garden or on a walk take some paper and crayons.

What sort of patterns can you find?

 

Place the paper on top of leaves, tree bark, pavements and rub with the crayon.

Children love the excitement of watching the patterns emerge.

Shadow Theatre

Use your hands to see what animal shadows you can make.

You can also use paper and cut out your own shadow theatre puppets and make up a story together.
